I see nothing wrong with deporting criminals. You are welcomed into a country and you chose to break its laws then you deserve to be expelled. Now more importantly is what agreements are in place for the prisoners to return and remain under watch.

UK Criminal Deportations History & Civil Business Politics

I have nothing against a country getting rid of their criminals if they are foreign nationals. The main concern I have is how is that criminal now going to pay for their crimes? Are they free once they hit their home country?

Deportations Criminal UK

Usually they serve the time in the country they committed the crime unless there is an agreement between the offended country and the country of origin of the criminal. If there is an agreement then the offended country will set the time for jail within their borders and then send them to their country of origin for the rest of the sentence.
