There Will Be Blood
A very long and drawn out movie. It focuses on the early days of the oil boom in the US. Added to that is of course:
1. What are men willing to do for money
2. False religions set up to get money
3. Greed and the ends which men will go to get what they want
I found the ending of the movie to be a sort of poetic injustice. It seems to portray that if you work very hard for what you want then everyone around you becomes a thief and a liar and so they deserve death.
Daniel Day-Lewis did very good in his portrayal of an oilman, and I believe that is all that saved the movie.
