Prayer For New Year

Hello everyone! Well it is the beginning of a brand New Year! Someone sent this prayer to me and I thought I should share it with everyone!

A Blessed New Year

As we step across the threshold into a brand new year....
There will be challenges which must be faced so to God and His Word
we must adhere.

If we'll look to Him for guidance and listen for the still small voice's,
He'll give to us His wisdom to help us make the right choices.

If we'll start this new year out with Him, and let Him take control,
We'll have His peace and joy, living deep within our heart and soul!
I believe we'll find the pot of gold that everyone's been searching for;
In fact, we'll do much better, for with Him we'll have so much more!

We'll have a bit of heaven dwelling in our heart;
When we invite Him to come in, He'll give to us a brand new start!
We don't need to worry what tomorrow might bring,
If in God we will trust and to His promises we cling!

It's a brand new year with a slate that is clean;
Let us trust in His name and on His loving breast lean!
Let's make Him our number one priority;
Follow in His footsteps and let Him have complete authority!
His promises are ours to reach out and claim;
When we put our trust in Him and give glory and praise to His dear name!

Year New Prayer

Thanks for posting this Geenie. It is something that we all should think about. Having God in our lives to help us lead a life he has meant for us to lead is always a good thing.
