Seem the Government is stepping things up a notch to protect the young. It now is an offense not to report any sites posting pictures of young children used in porn. It carries a 30,000 fine if you are discovered with holding information. Most definitely an aggressive step to try and make child porn ring more difficult.

Child Porn is infecting the globe like a virus that has no limitations. It is good that the Canadian government is active in the fight, but how do you enforce such a law?

That is a very good question and I am waiting to see how such an item might play out. I think it would be hard to prove and likely only discovered after the child porn poster/user had been caught by the police.
I ponder if it is a bit of smoke being blown to look good.

Maybe someone people who are caught with porn on their computer use the excuse of trying to conduct an investigation or see if they recognize faces and the next question that could be asked is "Why didn't you report it?" Now they could easily say because I'm under no legal obligation to. Not anymore!
