Hello there, fellow internet...people. I'm brand new here and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. ... So please go easy on me.
Uhm...let's see. I love roleplaying and try to participate in an RPG any chance I get. Though it can be difficult for me to roleplay topics I'm not necessarily interested in or don't know much about, I try to make things as interesting as I can and learn fairly quickly.
Besides roleplaying, I'm into anime, manga, art, literature, music, and all that nice nerdy stuff. Drawing is my favorite hobby and I consider myself a fairly decent writer...uhm...though I suppose this kind of information doesn't matter much.
I hope to have an enjoyable experience on this site and hope that I don't tick too many people off. ... Soooo yes. That's about all I can think of. Yup. Thanks for reading!

Oi oi! *flails* Hi Kay!
Everybody, this is my best friend. Treat her nice!
Oh, and I have another question XD How do I change my avatar...? Alsooo...
Our characters -- me and my best friend's -- they can be married, right?

Greetings RPGer
We have FOUR types of RPGs here, which one are you interested in:
1. Start Now Type: For those who want to start immediately in a TURN based environment then you need to go to: Ruler of Kings or Emperor of Asia or Future Terra or Jerusalem Conquest or Lazarus or Germany 1939 and register on those. The Boards that handle Discussion for these games is located within this Community. Use the Site Map if you are unsure how to find them.
2. Integrated RPGs: This is where the Play by Post and custom script RPGs are part of the Community. Games like Matrix: Plugged, Cozyville and others considers what you do in the Community and thus it affects game play. To see a list of these check the RPG Listing page.
3. Writer's Paradise: For for those who prefer well thought out storylines via Play by Post where the players are more mature then keep reading below:
You need to make 30 Constructive Posts as a test to see how well you can participate in our Text Based Games, so get started now by selecting a Board and giving your input. After you make your 30 Posts return here to reply and request 'RPGer Status'.
4. Share Book RPG: This is the EASIEST type of text RPG to get involved in because it only takes you joining in a Thread with a current Book Scenario and giving your vote in which direction a character should move. To see current games go to the Member Wars Board.

I think that I am most interested in Writer's Paradise. I enjoy well thought-out plotlines with good detail and a mature cast of characters. I hope I'll be able to meet the required 30 posts before that. It might be a little difficult because I'm kind of hesitant to go about posting on various boards and all that without knowing at least somebody there. But I suppose that I can get over it. That Share Book RPG looks interesting. I wasn't aware such an option existed. Is it sort of like a "Choose your adventure" set up? Or am I just totally misunderstanding that?
Thank you very much for the information!

Okay, thank you very much for that explanation. And I'll try to present myself as maturely as possible.
Yeah, so that's what Share Book is. Okay, thank you. Hm...well I think I'll end up with Writer's Paradise then. While Share Book sounds like an interesting experience, I prefer to be in complete--or at least nearly complete--control of my character.
Ah, new meat I see, makes my heart full of glee. Have ye a pocket of gold to my liking? We can be friends, my skills are charming.
