I have been recommended this book by John Eldredge but have had another tell me that the bible quotes are misused consistently and that this book is more about man making man then improving through Godly influence. Has any one read it and what is your take?

I have not heard of this book or have read it. I will look at a book store this week and see if I can find it and take a look at it.
