Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) has no shame. She's openly lobbying for the 'fairness standard,' a tricky new name for the 'fairness doctrine.' She's upset because (not kidding) 'Obama 1260' radio went out of business, like many other liberal talk stations. So, libs like her want to mandate that stations put libs on the air. The real shameless part is that Senator Stabenow has just a slight conflict of interest on this one - her husband is the founder of multiple (failed) liberal talk networks. Wonder if she will benefit from the Fairness Doctrine in any way? Ref. Source 2
