I think you should remember that a well rounded group has more than just bows and arrows. While they seem to be a good way to deal with the enemy some of the things you will fight like to shoot back with ranged weapons too. Whether it be bows , spears, daggers, or large rocks.

Remember if a creature is using a bow it gets two attacks per round too.

Yeah but if you have a weak character then a bow is cool to have because you can attack and stay far away. I'm just remembering what Krusten did with the orcs she was awesome with her bow.

Yeah but she got some nice rolls and that helped a lot too. Staying out of harms way can back fire on you too.

Come on you're not like going to start to penalize us just because we like figured out a good plan.

I never penalize a group for finding a interesting or workable plan. I go on dice rolls for most of the monsters reactions. IF using bows works well for you then by all means use them.
