Home printers capable of spitting out a colour page in a second are expected to be released around the world this year, made possible by technology developed by a research firm in Sydney. Ref. Source 7
Nice gadget to have, but the bigger question is at what price. If it's not going to be affordable for the average consumer then that printer will sit there for the next 2 years until the price is reasonable.
Can the ink be more ridiculous in price then it is now? I mean really it is very expensive to print in colour as it is. If it goes up no one would use it.
It all sounds good but it is the price of the printer compared to others plus the cost of the refills on the ink. If it is over $50 I know I will not buy it.
