Alex Ferns, Millie Mackintosh, Tania Bryer, Wayne Sleep and Leslie Ash battle it out for a place in the next phrase of the competition. The Mystery Box Test sees them having to create a pizza each. They are then sent to work during lunchtime service in two busy London restaurants before having to prepare a two-course menu of their own design in just one hour and 15 minutes.

Season 09, Episode 10
The first semi final begins with a trip back in time as the celebrities have to cater for Shakespeare's 450th birthday. They have to create four mouth-watering dishes each from a selection of ingredients that would have been available at the time. When they return to the MasterChef kitchen they have to deal with the Great British Classic Mystery Box Test and must fight for their place in the competition.

It is the second of the semi-finals and the six remaining celebrities continue to battle it out to win the MasterChef title. Their first challenge is a relay invention test. Before they have to showcase their own style and flair with pastry.

The three remaining celebrities face their final two challenges before this year's winner is announced. They need to draw on everything they have learned so far and have to cook to the very highest of standards if they are to impress the judges. Their penultimate challenge is the Chefs" Table hosted by Italian chef Francesco Mazzei at L"Anima. They then need to cook and present a faultless three-course meal for final judgement.
