I've seen in some movies that vampires need permission to come into your house, but they can attack you anywhere. You wouldn't necessarily be able to tell who is a vampire or not though. And I don't think you would have to say "come in", you could just lead them in as long as you are leading them in intentionally. I'm not sure one hundred percent though how it would work.

As I said before, I believe REAL Vampires in the stereotype depicted by fantasy DON'T exist. But what is real are those people and spirits that drain life energy, if blood sucking is given as a darker metaphor for this, then in theory Vampirism is a reflection of reality.

Comments: What the guy said about how he rules are made up is partly true. There is more than one type of vampire. There are certain vampires that need that permission because they are under certain oaths. Others ae more to themselves like outlaws.
