The best real estate signs I have seen have had the obvious "For Sale" information, as well as the Realtor's contact information. Then, they have had some sort of weather proof container on them with a sales sheet for the property. For example, the sheet will have all of the contact information, as well as a photo of the house. Then it will list the price, the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, lot size, and any special items.

Just by seeing the sheet there, we have stopped a few times to gram one, then we looked at it closer later.

Of course, it helps a lot if the Realtor's website is listed.

The sign should read of course the fact that it is on sale and how to get in touch with the owners. Also it would be nice to have an idea of the cost.
