Feeling Sorry For Yourself
Have you ever fallen into the trap of "Feeling Sorry For Yourself"? Maybe you do not entirely feel that you are 'Feeling Sorry For Yourself' until you encounter a situation where you blame your past or someone in your past and you begin the process of 'Feeling Sorry For Yourself' even if it is unconsciously. Feeling Sorry For Yourself can last your whole life until one day you realize consciously that you are indeed Feeling Sorry For Yourself and break the habit. What are your thoughts... Are you aware of 'Feeling Sorry For Yourself'?
Yes, everyone has been there, but some are still there. You can often note this by how they handle responsibility and problems when they occur. Then you discover they are still there. To overcome feeling sorry for yourself I have found that its almost always the case that someone has to wake you up to the fact that you are dwelling in self-pity.
Some people never wake up and understand that they are living in self pity. I know those who realize what they are doing and put a stop to it can help others but with the way a lot of people are today they are looking out for themselves and what they can get out of it. They do not seem to have the will power or the desire to help others.
I've definitely fallen into that trap before. When I notice myself starting to feel sorry for myself, I do something nice for someone else. That way I get an immediate confidence boost and I feel like I'm taking part in something bigger than myself and my feelings. It's important, I feel, to be able to come out of yourself at times like that and see life from outside perspective.
