Chainsaw-wielding tree trimmers at an Encinitas park could only watch yesterday as 30 schoolchildren chanted "Save our trees!" and a tree-sitter played his guitar from the branches of a tipuana tipu - the last of 11 trees to be cut down for blocking ocean views.
