I have often used my trap dice to place traps in my dungeons. Not all dungeons have traps but some do and they vary a lot.

Might be handy I guess but I think traps have to make sense. I think if you're going to have all kinds of traps just everywhere in a place that is regularly trafficked then it makes no sense.

That is why my traps are placed in odd places and in areas that do not see a lot of travel. Like in crypts and around store rooms.

Thats good I played a game once where this one DM reminded me of the Saw movie traps I mean they were everywhere and everyone died it just didnt make any sense. Also they were like at eah step so it would take a whole hour to just move by one room.

I can see where that would make it a bore just to get into a area and not be able to move while random monsters seem to move through with little or no problems.
