Quarantine's tagline is:

On March 11 2008, the government sealed off an apartment complex in Los Angeles. The residents were never seen again. No details. No witnesses. No evidence. Until now. |
I thought the movie was well played and well acted. The ending was interesting too. I am waiting to see the sequel come out now so we understand more of what was happening.
I will give this movie 3
You think there will be a sequel? I thought that there was nothing to build on. Basically the only other thing left to do is for the government to enter the building and burn up everything it sees. Now if the original cultist escaped through a sewer system then I could understand, but we're talking an attic.
I believe there will be a sequel due to the fact the government is stupid and they will allow something to escape or one of the people will be found still alive and taken to the hospital. Remember the dog at the vet? They did not tell what was done with it. Did it get the chance to infect others?
Government is stupid is plausible, but they did look like they weren't joking around in Quarantine. As for the dog at the vet they did say that the dog was infected and that it started to attack all the other dogs so my guess is they put them all down. What might be plausible is if all those rats the cult guy had in the attic escape into the streets then it is possible for a second story. I believe that is how the first woman got infected - a rat bit her. Better yet, he is just one cult member, what if there are more with the same thing just waiting to attack.
