I heard a suggestion given on CNN that the US should introduce US Visa for foreigners willing to buy a home or apartment for at least US$500,000.00 as a way to stimulate the economy. What do you think about that?

I do not believe that this is the answer we are looking for. We will be subjecting ourselves to a who different type of threat if we just let anyone who can afford $500k to buy a home in.
