Rainy Season vs. Dry Season

We are supposed to be in the Dry Season yet it rains everyday, and sometimes all day. In fact, it has been raining so much that it is causing flooding in some areas. What do you think is causing this change in climate?

Comments: I'm not sure why, but I've made another observation. I've found that the 'rainy' season is particularly hot and dry, with rain being the exception rather than the rule! It's unlike any rainy season I've ever experienced my 28 years of living in Trinbago.
