I am one who is for castration of those who commit sexual acts on children. I know it has been argued that it may or may not work in stopping future attacks. I still say we need to give it a try to see if it will or will not work.

Something needs to be done. Of course, there has to be beyond a doubt that the person is guilty, but that goes with the death penalty also. And even though, it is said that castration will not stop a pedophile, it would be something wouldn't it? we know just throwing them in jail does not work. The sentencing for this crime, however heinous, never seems long enough... I was going to say, it would be a deterrence for future molesters however these animals believe they are in the right and that they will not get caught.
