CNC3 says that the Rasta City gang in Lavantille, Trinidad have offered TT$20,000 to anyone that can kill a police officer or member of the regiment that is patrolling 'their area'. The government have countered the gang's offer by offering TT$100,000 to anyone with information that can lead to an arrest.
The police worked really fast to intercept some men who were on a mission of revenge when their leader, a former 1990 coup Muslim man, was shot to death at the Tru Value in Diego Martin. These gangs pulling out guns and killing senselessly, they are the ones that have the murder rate going up so high.
Parents of pupils at the Rose Hill RC are saying because of the gang / turf war children are bullying other children, etc. You think about the adults involved but the children of areas that fall in certain 'turf zones' also pay the price.

Title: Solution
Comments: Build a massive jail system out in the bushes, put a court in it so when you pick up the gangs and criminals bring them to court immediately, and assign them to cell immediately. Wake them up at 4 am every day to do work like plant garden or take care of livestock all day long without rest an see how many of them will want to go to jail. Pass strict laws on gangs, guns, drugs, all crimes and see who wants to go to jail change the name of jail to jobs see all who want to go. What ever punishment the locals get make it 10 times if you a foreigner.

Title: Crime in T&T
Comments: How can one be the solution when he or she is the problem? Under the anti gang-legislation it is an offence to be associated with gang members. It is an often occurrence to see officials being proudly photographed with known criminals, Criminals even receive preferential treatment and is even afforded an audience or access to ministries and officials.
Enterprise fighting is getting out of control. Anytime you have to call in the regiment meant to protect from an external enemy to watchman an internal enemy you know that things are in dire straits.
