Government slaps fines on 17 USVI gas stations

ST CROIX, USVI: Inspectors from the USVI Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs issued fines against the operators of seventeen gasoline service stations on St Croix Monday after it was discovered that they increased prices on gasoline products in anticipation of a planned increase.
