Spain must do better than Switzerland tonight to go through to the last 16.
If they win they are through, if Switzerland don't beat Honduras by 2 goals or more.
If they draw against Chile, Switzerland must draw or lose or Spain are out.

I am watching Chile Vs. Spain and the Chileans are playing extremely rough. However, one of their players was shown a RED card even though (in my opinion) he did not even touch the Spaniard player! The referee was NOT looking so I am shocked.

Cup World FIFA

I watched the match between Portugal and Brazil. I thought this was a good game with both teams being pretty equal. I think the Portugal team blew too many chances to score in the game and they were able to find the holes in the Brazil team. Likewise Brazil showed the holes in the Portugal team but were not able to get the ball in the net even though they were close a few times. Over all it was the best game I have watched so far in this tournament.


I watched the Spain team beat up on the Chile team. Chile got a early Red car that should never been thrown but they got away with a cheap shot on the sidelines when one of their players purposely cleated a spanish player. This type of play should never be allowed to happen. I think the Chile team played rough and their lack of team work clearly showed. The spanish team took advantage of their lack of team work in the first half scoring twice. It seemed that they were fine to just run the clock out in the second half knowing they would win and not have to face Brazil.

Yes, the Chileans played very rough (known for that), they are meeting Brazil sometime next week. I foresee lots of yellow cards.

Both teams played well, the Koreans relied too much on their United star Park, but their headed goal was taken well. Uruguay were doing well going forward but should have been more attacking after going a goal ahead. Suares' second was one of the goals of the tournament.
