I did not have the chance to see the whole game so I would like to know whether Germany played that good or just England did not play good (big difference). However, I was disappointed to see how bad the referee was. What a shame!

If Argentina wins today I am going to be worried due to the vulnerable defense Argentina has and with the Germans attacking constantly, wow isn't going to be easy! Argentina can become a colander in the back if they do not watch out! But, let's see if Argentina can beat Mexico first.

Also let's keep in mind Argentina met Germany in the quarter finals in the last world cup. Germany was able to beat Argentina through penalties. There was also this HUGE fight between the players AFTER the game with punches being thrown from both sides!

Since the US is out, I have to root for "nuestro vecino"--Mexico. It would be great to see an underdog go all the way through to the finals.

I did not see all of the game, I saw the dodgy first goal for Argentina - he was offside. And then the defensive blunder that led to their second goal. I knew then Argentina would put Mexico to bed.

The issue wasn't Messi, it was Tevez. As you can see in the picture from Clarin.com. When Messi kicks the ball, Tevez was the LAST player, all the rest off the players were behind him including the goalkeeper. He was offside.
