Everyone was talking about the Germans, they are great no doubt however they were playing against Australia!

I will be watching closely Italy-Paraguay and of course supporting Paraguay in that game.

I think Italy looked very flat footed in the game against Paraguay. I think if they are as strong as a team as everyone is trying to give them credit for then they have a lot of work ahead of them.

The first half was almost like the Brazilian team didn't exist despite the fact they had almost full time possession of the ball. A very mediocre job of the Brazilians.

On another note, what's up with all the complaints about the ball since the world cup started? Adidas created this ball that is receiving a lot of criticism from players and goalkeepers too.

They complain about the ball because of it's high tech panelling - if you strike across it, it bends in the air. It takes great skill to predict and intend it's movement. Just watch the replay of Brazil's first goal and you will see what I mean.
