3 Officers Shot In Pittsburgh

While responding to a domestic dispute call a man holed up in his home and officers exchanged over 80 rounds resulting in three officers being shot. There is no report on the status of the wounded officers. This is a on going story. I am watching CNN about it now.


Update as of 10:15: They are now reporting that the gunman has surrendered to police and that two officers were killed in the barrage of gunfire. I still have not hear about the third officers condition. Now they are also saying two others were injured. Making it a total of five officers with two dead.

Update as of 2pm: Three officers are dead now. Two were killed after entering the home with head wounds. The two injured one was shot in the hand and another a fence gave out and he has a broken leg. The man had a AK$& and high powered rifle. Both of these weapons makes body armour the police wear obsolete. It almost sounds like this was a set up on the police. The investigation is still on going.
