Nothing special just more money spending making this place like a welfare state. The budget always increases but never decreases even though it is based on an oil figure that is less than the current rate - so where does all that surplus go?

With the oil prices down to thee 60s that budget already crumbling. The days of big spending are over and now comes the recession. Those who strik8ing now will get a rude awakening with retrenchment.

If the oil prices continue to fall then we can expect a big recession. That is a the main reason we shouldn't be so dependent on oil. The government should be able to get revenue from the mass exportation of quality goods from T&T. The manufacturing sector should be built up.
