IMO, anyone who wants to run for a political office - at any level - should be required to have a business and/or psychology education as well as at least 5 years running their own business. Military service should be required for anyone who is to be put into a position that manages or monitors any branch of the military, which would include President, VP, Secretary of Defense, etc. Congress wouldn't necessary need this prerequisite.
