It is my belief that soon newspapers will be a thing of the past. You can get more information fast via the internet that it is a waste of money to have a subscription to a newspaper.

Although I agree I do not think it will be that soon. There is still an existing generation that just does not like using computers. Some people like the feel of paper under their fingertips. This issue with the Rocky Mountain News might be one of a lack of diversification. They should have gradually changed their news to online ads and promotion, radio, TV, etc.
