I've heard that things are so bad in some States in the US that students are told to bring their own toilet paper to school because the school can't afford to buy toilet paper.

That is just wrong in so many ways. I know in our schools every student bring two boxes of tissue in at the start of the year for the class rooms. I do not mind this our even sending in toilet paper but it is sad to see how much waste is in the system that could be stopped to buy supplies like this or even better writing paper.

I have seen numerous students who carry their own toilet paper due to the fact that they do not like the john wayne toilet paper that most schools use. I think that those who take in their own toilet paper is helping the local schools save some money on toilet paper because I have not heard of any shortages of toilet paper in the local schools.
