Nevermore Introduction

Hello everyone,

I have been looking for a good play by post rpg for a while now, but obviously I did not look hard enough. I have been role playing for over ten years now, I started in e-fedding or wrestling rpg's, but have always been an avid fan of the dark ages. I look forward to putting my writing skills to the test here, and I hope to become a better writer in the process.

There is one problem I may have with this site, but I hope I can get by with what time I have. I work a nine hour job, so I have a little time here and there, and I hope I can put my skills to use on this site within that time frame. I assume that others work as well, so perhaps I can find some more individuals that work a schedule similar to mine so that I can get involved in a weekly game.

We have FOUR types of RPGs here, which one are you interested in:

1. Start Now Type: For those who want to start immediately in a TURN based environment then you need to go to: Ruler of Kings or Emperor of Asia or Future Terra or Jerusalem Conquest or Lazarus or Germany 1939 and register on those. The Boards that handle Discussion for these games is located within this Community. Use the Site Map if you are unsure how to find them.

2. Integrated RPGs: This is where the Play by Post and custom script RPGs are part of the Community. Games like Matrix: Plugged, Cozyville and others considers what you do in the Community and thus it affects game play. To see a list of these check the RPG Listing page.

3. Writer's Paradise: For for those who prefer well thought out storylines via Play by Post where the players are more mature then keep reading below:
You need to make 30 Constructive Posts as a test to see how well you can participate in our Text Based Games, so get started now by selecting a Board and giving your input. The best way to make your 30 posts is to use the INDEX scroll down, pick one or two of those Boards that interest you and start Posting! After you make your 30 Posts return here to reply and request 'RPGer Status'.

4. Share Book RPG: This is the EASIEST type of text RPG to get involved in because it only takes you joining in a Thread with a current Book Scenario and giving your vote in which direction a character should move. To see current games go to the Member Wars Board.

Welcome to the forums. We all work and that is what makes the play by post RPG work so well. We can see what others are wanting to do and the leader can make the post to the GM. We hope that you are able to get your 30 posts in so you can join us in future scenarios. If you have any questions please ask here.

It does work but we do not "sit down" for a game. It is make you post daily then we continue on. There are other threads that you can make your own story and have people post to it and a time frame could be set for a "sit down session".

Sounds like the kind of game fore me. Sorry it took so long to get back with everyone, but I went to bed shortly after joining last night, and woke up and went to work. I'm going to get a few posts up tonight so I can join in soon.

Yes do join us in the RPGs once you get your 30 posts. Watch your participation level too. You need at least 75%. If you post three to four times daily you can maintain that level.
