Yes, I agree with you there are other options that are preferable to replacing one drug with another. But that is only if one has the willpower to quit smoking without using drugs that is definitely the route to go. The issue is the people who don't have the willpower or strength of mind. Perhaps these people are just susceptible to cigarettes. They need something else. I've know people that just couldn't kick the habit without additional help. I say use every tool to kick this habit and this is a drug that you stop using once you've kicked this habit.
