A Trini Writes Obama
We need your help, Mr Obama
Mr Obama, the people of this country are suffering daily because of the crime, poverty and corruption that is most prevalent in Trinidad. Here are but a few of the problems plaguing us. For the year so far, over 100 people have been murdered, yet the Government is doing nothing to address this situation. A very small percentage of these murders are solved. Our Prime Minister Patrick Manning, will be going all out to provide security for you and others attending this summit, yet he does not even attempt to provide the citizens of this country with that same protection. After you leave, we will continue to drop like flies because everything will go back to the way it was. Ref. Source 6
