Horizon vs. Square View?

A lot of monitors are being made with a horizon view in mind or in other words there is more with horizontally than there is vertically. This is different to the older model square box TVs. Which one do you prefer though? I like Square since most films and TV programs are made with the 'square' tube in mind.
