Military officials are concerned about Terrorists Using Google Earth to zero in on targets. This especially with the British Military which recently found images of its SECRET naval base and nuclear subs on Google Earth including longitude and latitude. That is something to concern us all!

I have pondered that before after all on google earth large objects are pretty easy to find. Nuclear power plant for me is in that list.

Private citizens have complained about their properties or streets being captured and displayed (see other Threads), but in this case the Military should be able to put a stop to this as Google should not be able to override security.

Yes it is a bit of an invasion of privacy but I think military sites should be blocked along with strategic sites.

To be honest we are so open in the USA and Canada for a real attack it would not be that very difficult to accomplish with a handful of people. I would think Google earth would be a great asset in arranging the attack regardless of what military information was blocked.
