| PALATKA, Fla. - An 8-year-old boy was fatally stabbed with a pair of scissors also used to stab a police officer, Putnam County authorities said. Zachariah Williams, 20, attacked the officer as emergency medical personnel took the child to an ambulance, authorities said. The officer was stabbed in the cheek but able to use a Taser gun on Williams. Williams was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The boy, identified as 8-year-old DayQuone Hill, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The cause of the attacks was not immediately known... |
