Illegal shoots cop in cold blood

Cops in Houston, Texas went to serve a narcotics warrant on a guy that they know has multiple arrests and they believe to be very dangerous---he lives in a $40,000 home and has a $50,000 security system. He watches the cops come in and shoots the first one in cold blood. The guy turns out to be an illegal immigrant---what happened to 'they just want to live peacefully here!' This sort of thing is the fault of our law enforcement agencies. They need to police themselves bette and get rid of the bad cops. Yet they keep sticking up for each other and trying to cover up things. A case that comes to mind is in chicago I think. A police officer beat the day lights out of a bartender woman on camera. She clearly did not attack first or threaten him and had her hands up in a prone position. The guy walked with not even a real apology.

That being said I want to address the topics title more along a different line.

Mexicans don't do jobs that Americans don't want to do! I keep hearing this and it is not true at all. I wish I had a job in landscaping were I could be outside all day, doing physical labor. The thing is many Mexicans don't want gringo's working with them. That is one less job they could have given to their cousin or friend.

This isn't my opinion in that I have been told this to my face many times. Sure not everyone has this attitude but many do. With the economy plummeting and work being scarce, the divide has become very obvious to me. I even see American temp agencies protecting the illegals and giving them cover to work here. Purposefully passing over me, probably not wanting to let me into these factories so that I can see and tell about what is going on.

I want to say though most Mexicans are very nice people and kind hearted. However, they want to make money and have a job just like we do. Progressively I think they are going to more extremes and having a closed off attitude. This is an American attitude they are adopting I think, because most Mexicans have more of a friendly inclusive attitude.

In conclusion I think we need to make illegal immigrants legal citizens. There is no way to police them, this is a waste of tax payers money. The idea of making a fence is complete hog wash. At least if we allow them true citizenship all this illegal activity by our government might go away. Making things more fair for everyone.

Do we want future Mexican Americans to have their first experience here being hunted or living in hiding? Forced to see themselves as less of people because they don't have certain papers. That is what is already happening and we as Americans really need to stop this. If you look back in our history has this sort of stance ever turned out good? No, Americans will be hearing about how poorly we treated true Mexican American for the next 200 years if we don't stop this soon.
