Depends on how look at prayer. Prayer is not for the Lord its for you. So not praying everyday even though its beneficial for you is like not eating food everyday, you're going to get weak from it.

I tend to tread lightly around politics and tread not at all around religious issues. Religion is often a very personal area. But I had to reply to this one. For prayer is could be as simple as looking up and acknowledging God is there. It doesn't have to be a formal recitation of some scripted words.

Prayer should be seven times a day… all your meals, when you rise, when you go to sleep and in between.
