I can also agree with this tee shirt. The fact that it takes the belief in Jesus to take us to our salvation means we do not have to be perfect.

This is not a criticism, but how does one know if one is forgiven?

And does this shirt imply that if one is Christian then they are automatically forgiven regardless of life choices and lifestyles? The implication is that if one declares himself or herself a Christian, then regardless of how they live, God by default forgives them just because they say they are a Christian.

Just an observation.

While that is a interesting observation and one people can get by just reading the shirt.

I guess it takes a real christian to know the truth that this shirt says. I know I am forgiven and I know where I am going. I guess if someone sees this shirt and feels that they are going to be forgiven just because they become a christian then they need to do more research. If the shirt helps more come to christianity then in a way the message is being spread.

If you believe in Christ then you can receive a forgiveness of your sins. If you're Chrisitan, a believer of Christ, then you are forgiven.

If you are a christian you are not forgiven. You still have to ask him to come in and save you to be forgiven. Just announcing that your a christian is not enough to be saved.

Exactly, Klar. We have to actually repent, because forgiveness isn't automatic, no matter what your religious affiliation.
