Injuries Combat Vets Insurance Bill Proposal Drops Obama

I think this is a very good idea that he dropped this proposal. If he wanted to do something like this the outcry from every vet and current service member would have been real loud. Heck he may have been thrown out of office for so many breeches of contracts.

I agree KNtoran. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to speak with one of the Vets who wasn't able to get medical insurance under the previous administration. He had lost a leg in the war and had to pay his own medical bills. This really shocked and surprised me and he said this is the reason he and many other Vets decided to vote for Obama. Thank goodness President Obama took these types of issues into consideration when making his decision. If he wants to seek another term in office, making the right decisions in terms of the people who voted for him will go a long way in seeing that that happens.
