I only just looked over your blog and I must apologises for not extending my sympathies to you sooner. I hope you were able to take it in stride and that you have since regained normalcy in your life.

Hey Nighthawk, relax, you are one of the best posters we have here. No need to overdo yourself. As for that other forum/group you were with - their lost and our gain, because then you will be here more often.

I have done very well. The visit to Utah, the funeral, and everything, was very good. Since my dad had been quite ill for some time, it wasn't unexpected.

As for today's blog, I was just letting off some steam. I don't plan on leaving here, although I do censor myself quite a lot, it is still a lot less than I do at home.

BTW, I noticed that little note about 75% participation in order to be on the RPGs. Not that I am planning to participate there right now, but I wouldn't be able to anyway.

My participation went down drastically when the board was changed over, and I couldn't seem to get on for a couple of weeks. The participation level was also changed from 3 posts to 5 posts/day. I just noticed that this kind of leaves me out.

Oh well. I certainly understand why the changes were made, and agree completely with all of them.

You mean from YaBB or from another server? Participation is actually easier to achieve - you only have to make 3 posts a day to be considered 100% active.

It sounds like you are considering the RPGs, which one?

Yesterday, I took the day off to take my wife downtown Detroit, for her citizenship interview. After the interview, the man told her that she would be notified of the date for her ceremony, which would be with at least 1000 people.

Since my wife suffers from anxiety, she explained this to him, so he made arrangements for her to have the ceremony yesterday afternoon.

So, in only about 8 months since applying, my wife is now a US citizen! We, of course, had a celebration at our house last night.

Nighthawk boring?? Absolutely *no way* my friend! I enjoy reading your posts, and the links, too. I just wish I had the time to research and read everything you link to, but you know how that goes.. I have very limited time these days.

I understand your frustration with trying to get your point across, and I can tell that you rein yourself in at times... Don't get discouraged. We really do appreciate your efforts here, and I learn a lot from your posts.
