I have had a lot of tests. The blood tests have not indicated any thyroid problems.
Actually, since two of my sons appear to be ADD, and I can identify with a lot of the symptoms, I suspect that ADD is part of my problem, combined with depression. Add the caffeine addiction, along with a marked lack of exercise, and you can probably see that I am falling apart.
My ankle is feeling quite a lot better, and part of my therapy is to use a recumbant bicycle and other low-stress exercise machines, I will start getting some exercise.
One thing I found I can do quite well is to put my youngest daughter (or my youngest son) into a fireman's carry, and do squats, as long as I don't go very low. This really works the lower thighs, as well as the back and abs. I need to do some serious upper body work, such as pushups, pullups, and handstands. However, I have no place to do pullups or rope climbs, pushups still hurt my ankle, and my balance (not to mention my lack of upper-body strength) doesn't suggest I try handstands right away.
So, I keep doing what I can, and must get into the exercise machines.
