Well, I am sitting in my sister's house in Salt Lake City, attempting to catch up a little bit. It is difficult. Still almost 200 email messages to sort through.

Anyway, it was a very long trip. Overall, the family reunion was good. It has been very comfortable here, in the low 90s, with low humidity. We all REALLY want to move back here, as soon as possible.

I was at BYU from January 1996 through June 1998. I finished my B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology in that time.

I knew I recognized you from somewhere. I too was at BYU during that time and the same major! Small world. We had a few classes and labs together. Spent a lot of time at the Crabtree!

While I am on here, I will note that I am going to be gone again for a few days, starting on Thursday. I am going to Phoenix for my daughter's wedding.

Well, I'm back. Whoopee!

It has been a VERY hectic week.

Got into Phoenix at about 8:20AM on Thursday. Spent most of the day decorating the Cultural Hall at the chapel for the reception. Finally left there about 6:00PM.

My oldest son had come down with my mom, my sister, and my niece and two nephews, so we all got together and talked for a while. A little later, another sister, along with her husband, five boys, and her mother-in-law arrived. So, we all went to a nearby restaurant for a late evening snack, along with lots of conversation.

Friday dawned hot and very humid. It is monsoon season in Phoenix, so the temperature was about 102F (almost 40C), with 65% humidity. It didn't rain the entire time we were there, but we kept hoping it would!

At 10:30, my daughter was sealed in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. I served as one of the witnesses.

For the following TWO HOURS the photographer was taking pictures of them around the Temple! I finally gave up and sat in the foyer of the temple, where there was at least a little bit of air conditioning.

The reception that evening was a great success. We had some surprise guests, such as two of my mother's cousins who live in the Phoenix area, along with my daughter's old YW leader, who is in my daughter's new ward. There was plenty of good food, wonderful company, and even (very little *YEAH!*) dancing.

Yes, I did tear up a couple of times during the day. But I am very, very happy with the choices she has made.

We left Phoenix Sunday afternoon. We finally arrived in Michigan at noon today. Except for an 8 hour sleep in a motel, we drove straight through. Over 36 hours of drive time.

We are all really beat this evening. I can't imagine why.

Congratulations to you, I look forward to the day when I may see my own child/ren enter the Temple to be Sealed to their spouse. Also, I was chatting with you the other day and you suddenly went completely offline, I am guessing that was a disconnection and not an invasion of the Fundamentalist groups hearing you were in the area.
