I really don't know how we are going to move. I suspect that we will have to move ourselves next summer. I am still searching for a job out West, though.

The thing is, there are lots of jobs out there for me. It just appears that none of them are interested in moving us out there.

So, we keep looking and working.

I did not know that part of being hired was to move you too, is that common in the US? I of course do not know your situation, but wouldn't the sale of your things enable you have cash to make the move and also enable you to move less and light?

Having a company relocate their workers is somewhat common, especially at the professional level. Not all companies will do it, but a great many will.

As far as selling everything off, my family won't allow it. All I need is my laptop and some clothes. Well, my "Sleep Number" bed is pretty important, as is the new recliner, and ....

Ok, it isn't just the family. There are a few things I don't want to let go of either, unless really necessary.

Nighthawk, I read your blog, got the Email, etc. I cannot say I understand why certain discussions can bring such emotions to the surface and all I can say is in whatever you want to do I support your decision as only you can know how to handle both your time and emotions. It will be ashame to see you go as you have brought many an enlightening time, discussion and feeling here, but at the same time I am not going to beg you to stay either, since I am not here to make people's decisions for them nor lead them or force them to stay.

If you feel that the Community is causing you undue stress then cut it out just as the Lord put it... remove the offending hand / leg what have you and so on.

Wow, I just read your blog and I must confess I am a bit surprised by your decision, basically because I know how important certain issues are for you but I think (and this is just my humble opinion) you are taking it too far into the emotional aspect and allowing it to cause you so much discomfort and stress. I understand those are issues that are important for you, but I mean are you going to get yourself sick over such a thing?. This is just a discussion forum, I also read things I do not like yet I do not allow those things to stress me to such degree. Maybe is something else you are going through and I do not know, I just hope you may find the peace of mind and the excitement again maybe by trying new things in your life. I would hate see you leaving because I do care a lot about you (and you know it) nevertheless, is up to you and I will not want to see you putting yourself in a situation that may cause you sickness and pain...

I am back, at least for now. Maybe I will just ignore a whole bunch of topics. The problem is, they are the only topics that I have been finding interesting lately.

As I have said before, it definitely is a problem that I am having, nothing to do with the forum itself.
