Introduction Nighthawk

Thanks for the sentiments.

Yes, I do have plans for today. I plan to get finished with the hard physical work on the plant floor here in Baltimore as soon as possible, then I will go back to the hotel, turn the air conditioner down even lower, and relax.

I didn't sleep well at all last night, so I am ready for a nap, and it isn't even noon!

It is supposed to be 97F here today, with high humidity (that is 36C for those of you who think in metric). Despite the fact that they pump chilled air into the plant, when it is this hot, it gets hot in the plant. Add to that the fact that I am working near the carburizing furnaces, and the high humidity, I am worn out already.

Anyway, I will go somewhere nice to eat tonight. Maybe Olive Garden or a seafood place. Then I will go back to the hotel and read stuff on the internet or watch some TV before going to bed.

It is so much fun being on a business trip on my birthday!

You're evil. You like to rub this off to the poor people here in the Caribbean huh? laugh.gif I suppose I am lucky to be pregnant here, if I was in the US (with all those nice places you all have to eat) I would probably be literally a balloon.

Oh Man of Controversy, how are things with you? Last I remember you were looking for work in the West, planning to move as close to Arizona as possible and controlling the mood swings - I take it everything is under control?

We are still looking for work out West. I had a 2nd phone interview yesterday for a job in Nebraska. It would be less than 10 hours away from Salt Lake City, and about 16 hours from Phoenix, so it would be in a good position. The cost of living is much lower there, as well.

Mood swings are generally better. Wellbutrin seems to work very well for me.

In general, things are good. The 45 mile drive each way to work is quickly wearing me down, though. With the current price of gas, we figure that we are losing about $250 - $300 per month, just because my office got moved to another city. We don't qualify for relocation by 4 miles.

That is one reason we are getting desperate to move, even if it isn't to a place we REALLY want to go. I will, most certainly, do the best job I am capable of doing, no matter where we end up.
