I just spent a day in southern Indiana and southern Illinois. I had an on-site interview in a little town called Albion, Illinois. Evansville, Indiana is about an hour away. I flew into Evansville on Thursday night, spent the night in a Marriot there, and went to the interview yesterday morning.

I think the interview went very well. It is definitely a job that I can do, and do well.

Now, tomorrow, I am going to another interview. This one is in a very small town in the middle of Nebraska - Cozad.

For some reason, this is all really wearing me down.

Interviews are stressful! Even if they are something you plan for, desire, and hope will go well, they are terribly stressful. I wish you great good luck in your search, my friend.

When you fly to each interview, you do so at your own expense or does the company at least handle the cost of the ticket? Also, I am surprised that they handle interviews on Sundays too?

The companies pay for the flight and the hotel. I will get reimbursed for the car rental.

I am flying out tomorrow (Sunday) because the interview is on Monday morning. It is a 2 hour drive from the airport in Lincoln to Cozad, where the plant is located.

I have to do it this way in order to reduce the amount of time that I take off from my current job.

Nighthawk! That's terrific news! I don't know what Nebraska is like to live there, but it sounds like a great opportunity for you and your family. Congratulations, and I second the notion that you should keep us informed as you can.
