Thank you. I appreciate the sentiments. However, I know for a fact that it isn't a very popular sentiment, as I have personally driven people away from this forum by my posts.

In fact, I recently left a forum, devoted to Mormon subjects, because apparently I am a "numbskull" and stupid, because I used documented information to support my point of view, and I was foolish enough to attempt to add something to a discussion, that included very personal information. It was thrown back into my face, and the owner/moderator used my words to mock me, time and time again.

I do have some strong opinions, particularly in the areas of current events, politics, culture, and religion. But I have to "bite my tongue" an awful lot, especially on these forums.

Anyway, thanks for the support.

I am sure that "Dr. Borde" is having a good laugh at his new designation!

Thanks. I really appreciate this forum, and am happy to be able to contribute.

While I am still living in a motel, I have found a house to rent for us. It is going to be small, although larger than where we live now. Except for one thing. There is no storage. No basement. Since our two sons have been sleeping in the basement, it will be effectively less room than we have now.

But, it is meant to be temporary. If it will last 4 to 6 months, we should be able to either find something to buy, or find a bigger, better place to rent.

However, Mrs. NightHawk isn't going to be moving out here soon. Our middle son is in a special high school program, where he attends all college courses at the local community college. His semester finishes in mid-December, so the Mrs. will be staying with him. Everyone is going to come out here for Thanksgiving, and we will drive on out to Utah. However, the day after we come back from Utah, my wife, middle son, and youngest daughter will have to leave for Michigan again. About 3 weeks later they will move out here.

My youngest son is going to stay here, with me. And, they are bringing out Oberon, the Monster Dog with them. That way, they don't have to bring him when they actually move, and will have a car full of stuff.

I guess that they are going to keep Bel, our St. Bernard puppy, in Michigan until they move out here.

I am really looking forward to getting together with everyone again!

Wow Nighhawk, I had to read your post twice...so much up and down moving! I am very glad you found a house and things are starting to move forward for you and your family. You mentioned Thanksgiving *sigh*, I love that holiday of the US, I think is great. I wish we had something like that here. All the best my friend!

I may not be on the forum much for the next couple of days. I am moving into our rental house today, and won't have internet there until Monday afternoon. I might be able to find somewhere in town where there is a wireless hot spot, but since it is cold and snowy here, I probably won't be sitting in my car getting on the internet very much.

Honestly, I think people drive themselves away, because they get too emotional and personal. I think a lot of the people that come here are really not discussional, but are argumentative without reason. People who are Discussional can hold a point of view without making it a personal agenda.

We are not so low here, and plus, that is why we have a Mature section, BUT in any case sharing anything about your personal life on the net with people you do not know is a grievous risk.

I seriously doubt that, so long as you are not insulting anyone directly I do not see why you should have to bite your tongue. On that note... you are a Diamond Member now and with that comes the ability to create your very own Board and set up your own rules of Discussion, let me know if you will like to give it a try.
