I'm sorry to hear things are so hard for you and your family right now, Nighthawk. I remember being unemployed for over a year, and what that did to me emotionally (not to mention the financial disaster). We'll keep y'all in our prayers.

Also sorry to hear about the email group ... Sometimes you just have to chalk it up to experience good or bad.

Wow, I am surprised.

Thanks to all who voted for me. I forgot that it was even the end of the month.

On another subject:
Our two little girls left us on Sunday. Their mother took them home to Nebraska, where we are fairly sure she will immediately get back together with the people who put her in prison (after all, she did the Christian thing and forgave them). We know that she has already had a tryst with her former fiance (who is now married) and has used pot. We just wonder how long it will be before the girls get taken away from her.

It makes me so angry when I hear about kids going through all this! Poor kids! We will keep them in our prayers.

I believe that is the hardest things a temporary custodial parent or foster parent can do. Letting go is never easy. I hope the best for the two girls.
