Well, I "bought" a blog. I will start it up probably tomorrow.

I noticed that the blogs here only allow a single post per day. That was why I started a blog elsewhere - I just forgot the reason.

I read a old message on your blog:

I hate BB guns, do you really think they're toys?. I have seen so many people get hurted by them, specially when unsupervised teenagers are using them. do you feel comfortable your son using them? how do you really know they were just shooting at cans and not pets or even people?. I said this because I believe no matter how much we think we know our children, teenagers are from a different planet.

Actually, these are different than normal BB guns. These use only light spring action, and shoot plastic BBs. They can't even shoot through a paper target, nor knock an empty can off a log. In order to do target practice, they have to shoot at "sticky" targets, so that the BBs will show where they hit.

I would have agreed, at least partially, if they were real BB guns. But - real BB guns are legal!

Yes, I think is terrible. I hate guns in general but BB guns I think is not good for the use of children, I don't know, I'm a mom ....if I see Felipe with a BB gun I would literally kick his butt!, I find that it may encourage the wrong kind of company and the wrong use of it.
Did you know before hand that he was going to play with them?.

No, one of his friends bought them for him that very day. However, I don't mind, at all. He was wrong not to have left it at home, especially after my wife told him to. He made a mistake, but there certainly wasn't any criminal or even threatening intent. They were planning on going into the woods the next day with them, and just left them in the van.

I am, however, very upset that the police threatened the boys with felony possession of a toy.

Have you taken this court or was it only a threat and nothing more? If to court I would like to know the outcome if possible.
