Introduction Nighthawk

Monday night, through Tuesday, I will have a sleep study. I am always extremely tired during the day. Today, I had a 4-hour meeting. As usual, I fell asleep during the meeting.

I can get over 8 hours of sleep, and be dragging all day. Lately, there have been times when I have fallen asleep at work, over me keyboard. It used to be that if I slept for 5 minutes, I was good to go. Now, if I go to sleep at lunchtime, I usually sleep for at least 30 minutes, and am very sluggish.

So, we are trying to see if something is happening that causes me to not sleep deeply at night.

Do you snore? Exercise? Eating right? Stressed? All of the above? Do you have sugar drinks during the day?

Snore a little bit. Don't exercise enough. Eat reasonably well. Now that I don't drink colas, I almost never have anything to drink other than lots of water.

They are going to be looking for sleep apnia, restlessness, etc. in the sleep study.

Now that I don't drink colas

I read before that you used to drink lots of Cola drinks and you recently stopped, I do think it takes a longgg while for the system to get rid of all that poison, even more if you have been drinking it for years.
Also Depression may be also the cause.

Nighthawk Introduction

Those are all contributors, and I am working on them. The sleep study should identify other things.

For example, when I do have a bit of a problem going to sleep, part of it is that I can't get my legs comfortable. If this is rather severe during sleep, it is "restless leg syndrome" and can keep people from entering the deep sleep cycles.

Another thing I have noticed is that I sleep very deeply from about 4:00 AM to 7:00 AM. I can stay up until 2:00 in the morning, and if I can sleep until 7:00, I feel fine. But if I go to sleep at 9:00 or 10:00, and get up at 5:00 (my normal schedule), then I frequently am beat all day. In fact, several times lately, I have been so soundly asleep at 5:00, that I couldn't find the alarm to turn it off.

Again, the sleep study should help identify some of these things.

from Iraqi Prisoner Abuse? thread:

QUOTE
That's what I have been saying all along. CBS (along with all the rest of the alphabet soup) have been purposely sabotaging the war effort, by putting the worst spin possible on all of the news.

I do NOT watch TV, nor do I get any newspapers. undecided.gif What news I hear/read is what I get from here or from emails from friends.

How can we make our outrage known, Nighthawk? I really feel that CBS, 60 minutes and the rest of the alphabet soup should be charged with treason. Am I forgetting what I learned decades ago in Jr. High school, that when the USA is at war and someone has committed treason, they are put to death? I would settle for them being in Military Prison with NO RIGHTS what so ever other than three meals a day.

I can write letters, the old fashioned way too! Is there already a group that has written the letters? Clue me in and I will add my 2 cents worth.

Thanks AGene

Unfortunately, I don't know of any action that can be taken, other than to write directly to the companies and their sponsors.

The blogosphere is full of discussion about this. We can write to our papers, but since most of them are extremely liberal, they think that CBS was completely correct in doing what they did.

Support correct principles. Discuss them with your friends. That is about all I know of to do.

BTW, if you didn't see any of the funeral yesterday, it is available on https://www.c-span.org/

I can't find the sunset service though. I had tears streaming down my face, especially during the "missing man" formation.
