There's something that makes our hearts race and our pulses quicken when we see a police car in our rear-view mirrors or hear sirens wailing in the distance. Although they're hired to serve and protect, many of us fear or distrust our local and state law enforcement officers more than we appreciate them. Ref. Source 3

This is true. We all fear being pulled over by the police because we feel that we may be guilty of something even if we did not do anything. I think the best advise I can give anyone is do not talk to the police if you can help it.
